On Tuesday night the Los Angeles Kings were in Montreal to face the Canadiens. The former Habs seemed to want the win more than the current ones and the result was a 5-1 loss. On Remembrance Day, the Habs gave us a game to forget.
Here’s what caught my eye. I’ll make it quick. You’ve suffered enough.
The only play worth remembering was a laser shot from Josh Anderson.
You don’t write that every day. Andy finished a great play from Lane Hutson who had a great first period. That’s kind of where the bright spots end in this one.

In the second, the Habs forgot there was a game on the go.
That’s an old habit they could stand to forget. I’m not sure what’s happening for the Canadiens to slip into a coma for significant parts of games, but the coach might want to investigate.
Sam Montembeault can forget the Olympics.
He was already a long shot with the start he’s had this season. But with Team Canada brass in the building, the competition looked solid and Sam did not. Monty needs to find his game, and he needs to do it for the team he’s already on.
What was he doing on that Fiala goal?
Of course the former Habs scored.
The only surprise was that Danault and Perry didn’t. That was a laser from Edmundson though.
On to the next one. Game 16 was one to forget.
